МЕЖДУНАРОДНА ДЕЙНОСТ НА САБ

САБ поддържа сътрудничество с професионални организации на архитекти от други страни. Съюзът на архитектите в България е член на Международния съюз на архитектите (МСА) и участва активно в неговата дейност. През 1972-75 г. българският архитект проф. Методи Писарски е зам. председател на МСА, а през 1985-88 г. арх. Георги Стоилов е председател на МСА.

СВЕТОВНО ТРИЕНАЛЕ НА АРХИТЕКТУРАТА – ИНТЕРАРХ

Началото на конкурса е 1981 г. До 1998 г. се е провеждал на всеки две години, а след това е продължил на всеки три години. В Интерарх участват всички членове на Международния съюз на архитектите. Триеналето е среща на архитекти, техните идеи, проекти, реализации и книги, място за спорове и дискусии. Триеналето се провежда съвместно с Международната академия на архитектурата и Университета по архитектура, строителство и геодезия.

ЕВРОПАН

Съюзът на архитектите е асоцииран член на Европан-Европа. Конкурсите на Европан са за млади архитекти (до 40 г) в областта на архитектурата и градоустройството. Целта им е да допринесат за формиране на градските обществени пространства и условията за обитаване. Провеждат се на всеки две години. САБ съвместно с кметството на община София и Европан-Европа е участвал в провеждането на два конкурса - Европан 4 и Европан 5
